This module forms part of a suite of materials to support students participating in an Access to HE module called People, Computers and Learning. The module engages students from a variety of educational backgrounds in using and evaluating wikis, blogs and social technologies particularly in relation to learning.
Everyone is welcome to use this resource, after all it in turn draws extensively on the work of others. Please feel free to contribute to the forums or download the unit and remix and reuse.
As you read through the sections you will find links to external sources. Some of these might have been moved since this module was last edited - while I can only apologise I think it's important to recognise that this is a function of relying on something as dynamic as the 21st century web. It's also difficult to discuss web 2.0 and connections and social networking as though they are separate entities - they are not.
