Welcome to the Research Zone

Research is at the heart of the LabSpace. We want to find out how you use our content and tools and the opportunities you find for with the material now that it is under a Creative Commons licence. In the Research Zone we have put together a number of ways so that we can pass on what we find to you and to the rest of the world. Of course, we want to hear your feedback too!

Our research to date is showing us that these new open educational resources are reaching people who felt cut off from learning. Whether or not this is the case for you we would like to hear your story of how you have found using our material either as a learner or with plans to help others. We also want to know what hasn’t worked or anything you wish was here but isn’t!

Disseminate Research:

Here we offer news about research and discuss issues via the research forum or the LabSpace tools. In this area you will find presentations, early releases of papers, our developing technical report series. You will also be able to let us know about other papers or resources related to open content. There is also a link through to find out more about our conference in October 2007.
